Lauren Mahoney brings more than a decade of marine industry experience and a deep passion for boating to the Pocket Yacht Company team. Originally from upstate New York, Lauren grew up powerboating and waterskiing on the lakes of the Adirondacks and Lake Erie. She began her marketing career in New York before transitioning fully into the marine industry, working with several marine dealerships in Maryland. Lauren joined Pocket Yacht Company in 2021 and has played a key role in the company’s growth and national recognition ever since. Lauren has over 10 years of experience in the marine industry and brings a wealth of knowledge across dealership operations, marketing strategy, and brand development. Since joining Pocket Yacht Company, she has helped drive significant growth, increasing overall sales by approximately 40 percent, while elevating the dealership’s national presence and reputation. Under her leadership and strategic direction, Pocket Yacht Company has earned numerous industry distinctions, including: - Top Dealer and Largest Dealer awards for Ranger Tugs, Cutwater Boats, and Solara Boats every year since 2021 - MRAA Certified Dealership status in 2022-2025 - Boating Industry Top 100 Dealership every year since 2021 - Boating Industry Top 20 Dealership Nationwide in 2025 Lauren specializes in Boat Owner Rendezvous planning, boat show coordination and execution, Google Ads, branding, marketing strategy, digital advertising, and industry networking. Known internally as Pocket Yacht Company’s marketing guru, she combines data-driven strategy with real-world boating experience to connect customers to the right boats and the right lifestyle. Now residing in Jensen Beach, Florida, Lauren enjoys spending time on the water with her family, whether heading offshore, cruising the coast, or overnighting at favorite coastal destinations. Her personal boating lifestyle closely mirrors the customers she supports, giving her a practical, real-world understanding of how boats are used beyond the showroom. Lauren remains deeply connected to the marine community and currently serves on the board of the Marine Trades Association of Maryland and the Young Marine Professionals group. She is passionate about helping others grow within the marine industry and is always willing to share insight, guidance, and connections. In her free time, Lauren can be found powerboating with friends, exploring new waterways, or spending quality time with family.
